Tyra lithographed tin toy dog made by Lehmann. The toy actually walks, clockwork mechanism, The Dog Thyras was patented in 1895 by Carl Adam and Lewin Minkowski & Son from Köngsberg, Germany. Lehmann bought the company in 1897 and made the tin toy dog from 1898 to 1935. The dog has a leaf spring mechanism, unusually for Lehmann toys. When wound up the dog actually walks. Original Lehmann Key with Lehmann logo. Also Logo at the Neck band. Thyra is in a god condition and working well.
