A rare and outstanding Milliners Model from ca 1830 with a wonderful hairstyle with an "apolloknot with comb and brushstroked curls , molded and painted.She has a lovely face with blushing cheeks,blue eyes lovely mouth.She is on her fine Millners Model classic kid body with wooden arms and legs and .large feet with painted slippers, antique and all original dress with multiple layers of underwear.All just lovely and still in fine condition. This charming Doll is in very fine condition-and all original all over, with no restoration. She is 9" tall 23 cm. A great young lady, that would be so special in a collection of early dolls. Considereing her age, the condition is very good.S

This is a Tuck Comb Wooden jointed doll from the Grodnertal with pierced ears and rings for earrings. in all original condition. She has painted hair in two shades of black with wispy curls at the forehead and temples and with a carved tuck comb.Her body is the early empire with a high waist. Details include dark eyes with a pronounced carved nose with painted red nostril anda nicely painted mouth . 
This marvelous doll, on an all-wood articulated body, features painted red slippers on her feet. She wears her all original plain dress with lovely underwear. She is 23 cm tall ( 9") which makes her fine for an early dollhouse or kitchen as well as in the doll collection. Her condition is very good.An area of paint loss to right side, but this does not affect her beauty. Ca 1810.

Considereing her age, the condition is very good.She has minimal wear to the papier mache and the paint of her toes are a littlerupped. Clothes in great condition.

A charming early wooden doll in a very fine all original condition. This young girl is a peg wooden doll with fine carved black painted hair with a carved curl at each side of her face. Her body is wooden, with a small waist. The torso is painted RED.She has painted red slippers. She is dressed in her original outfit -a traditional German dress with apron.Probably from Grödnertal, where she was made. She is carrying a small basket, sewn to her blouse.Fine underwear. The Gesso layer is in perfect condition. She is 6 1/2" ( 16,5 cm) tall. She would be lovely in an early kitchen. Ca 1870 Excellent condition all over.

This is a charming wooden mechanical toy of a young girl playing the piano. A wooden doll with paper mache head is seated in front of a piano in her best clothes and plays the piano, when pulled. Her face is lovely, fine molded and painted facial features and a lovely hairstyle: hair curled at the top and put together in a molded and painted hair net.Her body is peg wooden and seated on a wooden stool. She has small painted black boots. She is dressed in her all original silk long skirt and fine blouse trimmed with lace. The condition of the toy is excellent. All original and no repairs. - very appealing toy! H. 21 cm ( 8,8") W. 17 cm (6,6")

Rare to find is an Early Milliners Model like this. She comes from a Museum and has been well preserved behind glass in her wooden case for decades. She has a Papier mache sholderhead, black molded and painted hair with exposed ears and long detailed painted curls and brushstrokes.Painted features with blue eyes, kid body with wooden arm and legs.Her clothing is all antique and original.Lovely green silk blouse,cream gauche skirt, fine underwear, painted shoes. A little band on her arm.H.14" 36 cm.Incased in a period glass front wooden case. An excellent doll..Some surface wear to head.

13 3/4" / 32,3 cm Wonderful antique papier mache Milliners Model with appolloknot This doll has a solemn face with blue painted eyes and beautifully modelled hair. Her hair is braided and wound over her ears at the side, the back swept up into a knot with comb fastened below it..an unusual and early hairstyle. I think this lady is from the 1830s. She has the typical milliner's body, with pinkish painted flat shoes, leather torso and paper rings where her wooden appendages attach. She wears what may be her original dress, trimmed pantalets and slip. She is dressed as a maid
