A beautiful TINY tin box for collecting flowers.This is a rare doll size Beautiful art nouveau decoration with frogs, cats and mice. A very rare piece in this size L. 3,4" /8,7 cm H.1,8"/ 4,5 cm. This early figures / sceneries of children from the Victorian time would be such a lovely addition to a doll display. The largest dome is 4,8" the girls dome 3 3/4" tall. They are probably early Valentine figures. The figures are made of Tragant and each in the original dome. The figures are in excellent condition.The domes too. All original , no repairs. Take a look at the pictures of each figure. NOTE:I am selling the figures seperately so the price is for one. Tragant was used for making Christmas decoration and Valentines. Originally Tragant served the pharmacists as stabilization and bonding agent. When this gum from the box thorn was mixed with sugar, water and sometimes eggs, it became a well malleable dough. It was often molded in flat modelling casts. When dried in a warm oven it became very hard, was less porous than other dough and could therefore be finely painted. NOTE:I am selling the figures seperately so the price is for one.
