Piano player made by Martin, France. This is a wonderful toy from ca 1905. When he is wind up he actualy plays a tune. "J''ai du bon tabac") and moves his fingers. Handpainted. Pianiste dressed in felt. Keys and tune comes out of piano Original song book and candelabras Original clothing and hair Great original condition all over. Size 5" x 5" / !4 cm x 14 cm. Antique Fernand Martin clockwork toy "Le Gai Violiniste" (The Merry Violinist). Made in France 1897. This tin plate figure with painted features holds a metal violin and bow and when wound up, he plays the instrument while moving from side to side. Dressed in felt clothing . Very good working condition. A little wear to his hat, but otherwise fine condition. A great piece for the Martin collector. Distler Tin-clown Playing Saxophone. ca. 1945-50. Distler made two variations of this toy. One plays the guitar and the other variation plays the saxophone. When wound, the clown strums his guitar and his head nods back & forth keeping rhythm while a plink-plink musical sound is made. Features all tin construction and detailed, colorful lithography. Size:H 21. Excellent near mint condition.

Tyra lithographed tin toy dog made by Lehmann. The toy actually walks, clockwork mechanism, The Dog Thyras was patented in 1895 by Carl Adam and Lewin Minkowski & Son from Köngsberg, Germany. Lehmann bought the company in 1897 and made the tin toy dog from 1898 to 1935. The dog has a leaf spring mechanism, unusually for Lehmann toys. When wound up the dog actually walks. Original Lehmann Key with Lehmann logo. Also Logo at the Neck band. Thyra is in a god condition and working well.
