What an elegant Grandmother for the dollhouse! She has a finely painted face that includes lines to suggest wrinkles, and a gray painted hairstyle with a bun and a black ribbon. On her original body that is fitted with perfect bisque limbs, she wears an all antique lovely original black silk dress wich is longer at the back. Black shoes. Wonderful condition. Germany ca 1910-20. H. 5-1/4" / 13 cm.

Rare and adorable early lady china doll head. with waterfall hair style with a loose bun. German China with Molded Bun from circa 1850, lovely pale tinted with pretty oval shaped face with long elegant neck. Her face is wonderful painted-look at the the wonderful molded upper and under eyelids, pink tinted with red line. Her coiffure so elaborate, her:hair drawn away from face into two wide poufs at the side.At the the back her hair flows from a twisted rope of hair holding it at center -into a smoothed fall, topped by a narrow braid. Remarkebel are the brush strokes surrounding her entire face .The shoulder head has three stringing holes. The shoulderhead is perfect with no cracks, chips, hairlines or repairs. Size of head :10 cm / 4"

She would be suitable in an early dollhouse . She is wearing her all antique and original clothes: a dress white fine swiss cotton dress with a blue silk band around her waist over a red woolen under-dress and painted red slippers.
