Wonderful very large scale Biedermeier desk w. lovely curved front.Outstanding unusually stenciling on the top, at the front and even on the table. Remarkable are also the stenciled scroll work at the sides of the upper drawers and the white banding overall between the drawers. This beautiful rosewood desk has a gallery of 5 cubby holes in white banding and two cabinet doors on either side. The table is curved on the front and has 5 working drawers,that opens below. Lovely carved pediment for the writing utensils above the writing plate.Lovely carving in a curved style, which is different from the other biedermeier desks.
