Early Chinahead dollhouse lady with an elegant narrow face and long slender neck. Unusual hairstyle with a swept up style with a braided bun in the back.Molded curls and beads She has lovely well defined painted facial features-blue eyes painted nostrils. Her original kid body is so wonderful with slender waist. Dressed in a cafe-au-lait two pieces dress with a skirt and lace top.A beautyful early lady. ca 1860. She stands 7 1/2" with her dress. 7" tall. The dress has an extra under shirt made of hard paper, to make her stand without a "doll stand" I love her early kid body. She has at her right shoulder, where the form was put together, a small fine mark from the burning. (iT is not a crack or a hairline) It does not affect her beauty.
