Außergewöhnliche und seltene Tisch Puppenstuben-Lithophanie mit Ständer.Deutschland 1870

Ein wunderhübsches und sehr seltenes Puppenstuben-Zubehör. Diese Lithophanie ist hergestellt aus Alabaster und Porzellan-Reliefs. Das einzigartige Stück ist gefasst in einen Metallrahmen mit Blättern und Vögeln mit der original frühen schwärzlich glänzenden Oberfläche. Rahmen und Ständer sind mit einem Kerzenhalter auf der Hinterseite versehen. Zündet man eine Kerze an, schimmert das Bild eines kleinen Mädchens durch die Lithophanie und das Porzellan wird beleuchtet. Ca. 1870 hergestellt, ist dieses Stück schon wegen seiner geringen Größe (6,5 x 3,3 cm) und seinem guten Erhaltungsstatus äußerst selten. Was für ein schönes Stück! Ich glaube, diese Lithophanie ist eines der wunderbarsten Ausstattungsstücke für eine Puppenstube. (Greek "vision in stone") ist eine Porzellan-Relief-Gravur, die erst dann zur äußersten Schönheit gedeiht, wenn sie im richtigen Winkel angeleuchtet wird. Das Bild wird erst richtig ausdrucksstark durch die Lichtbrechung in den unterschiedlich starken Porzellanschichten: Die dickeren Stellen erscheinen dunkler, die dünneren heller. Die im 19. Jahrhundert entstandene Lithophanie ist wohl eine der interessantesten Kunstformen. Bei der Lithophanie handelt es sich um eine Reliefdarstellung aus lichtdurchlässigem Material, wie Alabaster oder dünnes Porzellan, die von hinten beleuchtet werden. Der Effekt entsteht dadurch, dass unterschiedliche Materialstärken das Licht unterschiedlich stark absorbieren.
