Rare mechanical “Busy Lizzie” tin toy by Distler, Germany, circa 1925. When wound, Lizzie energetically scrubs the floor. The toy is preserved in very fine condition with wonderful colours. This is the rare Distler version; the similar figure by Fischer is more commonly seen. Height 17.5 cm (7 in).
