Stor samling påklædningsdukker fra 1910-11

SOLD
Category: Old Paper dolls,Klippdocker, Papirdukker
These paperdolls, designed by Shelia Young, are part of a continuation of the Lettie Lane family series. The 250 pieces feature children and adults of other countries, and their native costumes, and cover the dates from September1910 to July 1911. The dolls and clothes from the “Ladies Home Journal” are beautifully lithographed and printed on extra heavy paper. Almost all are marked with the year and month, together with being grouped together by their dates, so that you have complete information about each piece—no having to figure out what sheet each item came from. They are clean and unstained, although they have been played with in the past.

SILVER PLATED ANTIQUE STILL BANK BUILDING

SOLD
Category: Antique Banks and buildings
WONDERFUL RARE SILVER PLATED ANTIQUE STILL BANK MADE AS A MODEL OF THE ROUND TOWER IN COPENHAGEN. The model was made by a Danish Silversmith ca 1910. PERFECT Condition! Needs polishing, but no plated silver missing. Comes with the key! SIZE High: 5 3/4" DIAMETER 2 1/2" History of the building:The great builder of Copenhagen King Christian IV laid the first stone of the fabulous Round Tower in 1637, and the 36 metre high tower was completed as an observatory 1642. The tower is connected to the Trinitatis church building in the old Latin quarter and right in the heart of Copenhagen. The Round Tower is built with a 210 metre long spiral stairway, which leads to the top. In 1716, the royal Empress Katharina drove up to the top of the Tower in a horse carriage, with her husband Peter The Great in front, on horseback, to enjoy the beautiful view over Copenhagen. This would be a nice addition to your bank collection or collection of old buildings! Contact me for further information!
