7" (18 cm.) Lehmann Kamerun. An ostrich is pulling two-wheeled postal delivery cart being driven by a blue-suited black man. There is a slit for dropping mail in the mail box at the rear of the cart. String-wound driven. Marked Lehmann.good condition. condition.Some wear to litho. The toy was made between 1889-1918 . An early rare example of a china head doll from Royal Copenhagen, This lovely early doll date from 1840. She is a portrait of Caroline Amalie. Flesh toned china/porselain with dark brown hair swept up in a bun. She is marked with the royal Copenhagen mark and the mark of the painter.She is unrestored and fully original. She comes from a private Danish family. She is on her antique leather body, handsewn. Her dress is antique from the time. A blouse and a skirt.Lots of underwear-all handsewn.The condition is good.( Note:At the edge of the shoulderhead at the sewing hole a tiny bit of china has been regluded from the previous owner and a tiny bit of the glaze is rubbed. See picture)This does not affect her overall look.Size 42 cm 15 1/2"
