Distler Tin-clown Playing Saxophone. ca. 1945-50. Distler made two variations of this toy. One plays the guitar and the other variation plays the saxophone. When wound, the clown strums his guitar and his head nods back & forth keeping rhythm while a plink-plink musical sound is made. Features all tin construction and detailed, colorful lithography. Size:H 21. Excellent near mint condition.
