2 1/4" /6 cm is this lovely old German jointed and articulated wooden doll. Handcarved and handpainted in Germany ca 1880. Lovely painted on seaman outfit. A rarity. Fine as doll for a small dollhouse or as toy for a larger house for the dolls! He is so good. More pictures to come

This is a charming boy playing soldier!He is an All-bisque doll with with a lovely painting with moustashe and inset dark brown eyes. He has jointed limbs and is wearing his all original antique wonderfully detailed woolen uniform with a lot of decoration ribbons and a pewter sward at the side. He is just adorable. H. 3 3/4" / 9,5 cm. Ca 1880 Excellent condition..
