This is a wonderful early ladys desk made by Kestner about 1840. It is the real biedermeier or empire style of furniture from Waltershausen, befor the Boulle polished was introduced. It has 3 drawers w. carved knops, a drop down front and behind this a mirror with two drawers at each side. A lovely piece of early furniture for an old babyhouse. Size. H. 17 cmx 11 cm.
