Antique Miniature Biedermeier Vanity- This lovely furniture has strong gold stencilling on the front arround the mirror and at the two doors under the marble plate.The stencilling is different with a knight over the mirror. There is white banding between the drawers.Everything original, no repairs. great condition. This is a wonderful early ladys desk made by Kestner about 1840. It is the real biedermeier or empire style of furniture from Waltershausen, befor the Boulle polished was introduced. It has 3 drawers w. carved knops, a drop down front and behind this a mirror with two drawers at each side. A lovely piece of early furniture for an old babyhouse. Size. H. 17 cmx 11 cm. (7" x 4 1/2") Good condition allover..
