An early rare example of a china head doll from Royal Copenhagen, This lovely early doll date from 1840. She is a portrait of Caroline Amalie. Flesh toned china/porselain with dark brown hair swept up in a bun. She is marked with the royal Copenhagen mark and the mark of the painter.She is unrestored and fully original. She comes from a private Danish family. She is on her antique leather body, handsewn. Her dress is antique from the time. A blouse and a skirt.Lots of underwear-all handsewn.The condition is good.( Note:At the edge of the shoulderhead at the sewing hole a tiny bit of china has been regluded from the previous owner and a tiny bit of the glaze is rubbed. See picture)This does not affect her overall look.Size 42 cm 15 1/2"

Antiker französischer Puppenautomat der Firma Roullet & Decamps. Der Automat zeigt ein Kaninchen in einem Kohlkopf. Wenn aufgezogen, spielt die Musik und der Kopf vom Kaninchen guckt aus dem Salatkopf, schaut nach rechts und nach links und die langen Ohren bewegen sich nach allen Richtungen. Das Kaninchen ist aus Papiermachè, mit weißem Kaninchenfell bedeckt, es hat braune Glasaugen und ein Blatt Salat im Mund. Ein lustiger Automat mit schöner Musik und vielen Bewegungen. Sehr guter Zustand und feinem Musikwerk. Original -Schlüssel. Höhe 21 cm. Hergestellt von der Firma Roullet und Decamps, Frankreich um 1890. Roullet & Decamps war eine der bedeutendsten Manufakturen der Jahrhundertwende für bewegliche Puppenautomaten.

This piano is in an incredible original condition with a lot of lovely details. It is made of Pewter, hand painted in black with gold decor (original), it has the original piano candlesticks at each side and also the pedals are present.When the lid is lifted, you can see the keyboard.
