A charming early wooden doll in a very fine all original condition. This young girl is a peg wooden doll with fine carved black painted hair with a carved curl at each side of her face. Her body is wooden, with a small waist. The torso is painted RED.She has painted red slippers. She is dressed in her original outfit -a traditional German dress with apron.Probably from Grödnertal, where she was made. She is carrying a small basket, sewn to her blouse.Fine underwear. The Gesso layer is in perfect condition. She is 6 1/2" ( 16,5 cm) tall. She would be lovely in an early kitchen. Ca 1870 Excellent condition all over.

A very famous doll artist from nothern Norway.The doll is handmade and handpainted. It is untouched with the original label. And lovely are the two small dolls, that comes with her. Peter, aufziehbares Nachkriegs-Blechfahrzeug, Lehman, 1948. EPL 503, Dreirad in Blassgrau mit roten Streifen, die Hinterräder in spiraligen Regenbogenfarben. Der als Clown gekleidete Fahrer trägt eine rote Jacke, blau-weiß gestreifte Hosen und eine Melone. Das Fahrzeug hat ein großes Messinghorn und –Lampe. Größe: 11,5 cm. Exzellenter Zustand.
