This is a rare tiny Ormolu item.A Dollhouse basket for collecting easter eggs! I have never seen it before. 1/2" x 1 1/4" H. 1 3/4" Lovely filigree work. Two handles. And inside the original glass easter eggs painted soft green and red. This is special!

6 1/4"Very rare is this early wooden Grödnertal doll.Painted hair with sidecurls.Ca 1820. Fully articulated jointed body.Dressed as a nun and sitting on a chair with a spinning wheel.She has lovely painted facial features-all though her hair and body are all most covered in her nun´s dress, you can see he early side curls. And you can lift up her dress and see her finly carved legs. She has the painted red shoes, that these early Grödnertal dolls have, but hers a covered with black fabric-for the nun´s dress. She is seated on a cardboard chair with a spinning wheel in front of her(wood, string and pearls. She would be lovely in a very early dollhouse.The high of the doll not seated would be ca 6 1/4"tall ( 15 cm) Sitting she is 4" tall + spinning wheel. I have not had her seperated from the chair. Her dress is antique, wonderful and so acurate-and so is the spinnig wheel and the fragile chair. This is a raryty!A wonderful setting !
