6 1/2"/ 16 cm . Rare Museums piece. Ca 1830. An early Antique bisque Soldier with an extreme wonderful molded helmet/ hat in brown with decoration-also in bisque in red, white and gold. Also molded is the string around his neck from the hat. Fine detailed painted features. Great moustache, fine eyebrowns, red line about his blue eyes. Molded eyelid. He is dressed in his old uniform, which has old mend at some places-so lovely sewn and decorated.His jacket with all its trimming is red cotton and his trousers are velvet. Flat black shoes, bisque as well as his arms. A lovely truly historical doll. This is the most exceptional soldier/ officer I have ever seen! ( I do not know his orign or regiment!

A lovely truly historical doll. he has a minor chip to his nose as you can see on the pictures and a minor to the brim of his hat.This is taken in consideration for his price. This is the most exceptional soldier/ officer I have ever seen! ( I do not know his orign or regiment!

This is a lovely 19" rare charachter boy made by The German Company Kley and Hahn. He has an adorable face with sculptered opened/closed mouth! The tounge is modelled in the bisque. Great big brown eyes!He has an auburn real hair wig, the bisque is in a fine quality. He has a minimal chip (unvisiable) at the corner of his left eye. ( Therefore I have reduced the price on him with 30 % ) This came probaly as the eyes were sat in by the company, so it is not a major thing! He is on a great toddler body in wonderful condition. He is wearing his original clothes and hat. underwear, stockings and shoes. He is such an attractive boy! He would be so lovely to add to your collection of character dolls!.Do ask for more pictures! Size 19".
