Arms and legs also china. She is on her original cloth body, her feet with painted flat boots. Her all original antique silk dress and hansewn underwear is so wonderful. A soft pink silk antique gown with wonderful details, .Fine cotton underwear with skirt, pantalons.Perfect doll for the early doll house! And a dollhouse doll rare to find in this condition! This is a beautiful brown-haired officer with a nice glimpse in his brown eyes… Fine young soldier dressed in his military uniform with his red jacket,dark blue felt trousers and hat -all original and antique- and black heeled shoes with black leg covers. The uniform is decorated with gold papers and there is a soft metal sword at his side. His excellent painted facial features are very fine.Nice molded. Lovely moustache. Great for a good doll house. Everything original and antique and in fine condition. .He is 18 cm tall /7-1/4" Made in Germany ca 1880

5,9"(15 cm) Rare dollhouse man 19.th cen.Head and Torso made of wood, the head shaped of paper mache or gesso.Expert painting and molding of the face and head. Hands with thumbs and indicated fingers..Lower legs papermache or wood. This gentleman is dressed probably as a peasant or musketeer with his page-boy hair and outfit made of felt and wool, molded hat,blue boots, belt.. all original and in fine condition. I have 3 of these wonderful rare dolls, that I sell seperately.(Described and shown in "Miniature Dolls" by Evelyn Ackermann, who made research on the dolls.P.201).
