A Beautiful Boulle Sideboard This sideboard has some unusual features that you will notice in the photos. There are two shelves with ivory turned posts! There is gold transfer work on all three levels (two shelves and the table top). The back of the sideboard has decorative scenes with buildings.The upper shelve and the table top of the sideboard is curved . Note: The second shelve has been replaced at some time. The price is reduced because of this. A rare and special piece! Measurements: 6,5" tall x 5" w. Circa:1870

Wonderful antique papier mache Milliners Model with appolloknot This doll has a solemn face with blue painted eyes and beautifully modelled hair. Her hair is braided and wound over her ears at the side, the back swept up into a knot with comb fastened below it..an unusual and early hairstyle. This lady is from the 1830s. She has the typical milliner''s body, with pinkish painted flat shoes, leather torso and paper rings where her wooden appendages attach. She wears what may be her original dress, trimmed pantalets and slip. She is 8 1/2" tall and would be lovely in a large dollhouse/kitchen. Excellent original condition with minimal wear.
