This is a lovely Kestner girl doll with a lovely expression.She is from 1890. She is 12" tall, has the mold number 166 on her back of the shoulderplate. This little beauty is made of the finest flawless bisque. She has closed mouth, lovely brown eyes. Her blonde mohair wig is original. She is on a kidbody-original-with bisque arms. She is wearing a woolen dress, white apron, lovely leather shoes and lots of underwear trimmed with lace. All from the time of the doll.She comes from a private estate. A lovely cabinet size doll,that would be a good piece to add to your collection of early German or French bisque dolls.

Very rare large Automaton/mechanical music box-very early from 1860 under a glass dome. 3 lovely parian dolls are playing different instruments-the violin, the flute, the bass. All dolls in perfect condition with original silk clothes, modelled parianhats, lovely painted features and instruments. No cracks or harm to any of these great dolls.The dolls are sitting on a base modelled as a diarama landscape 3-dimensinel.The original glassdome, that covers the automaton has a mountain picture painted as bacground for the dolls on the glass. When you turn the handle, each doll play the instrument. Facinating movements-lovely tune. The music box is in the wooden base under the dolls.All in original excellent condition. The doll have surely been preserved by the glassdome. Wear to the wood at the base-due to age. Size 14 inches wide x 16 inches tall./ 35 cm x 42 cm. 19" early chinahead boy. Lovely young china gentleman with painted and modelled wavy hair with brush strokes at temples, forehead and sideburns,shapely ears.This size shows his wonderful molding and painting. About 1850. He comes with a provenance from a Swedish family, sewn on his jackets inside as well as his name tag on the front. He is on a cotton twill body. he is dressed in wonderful original clothes. Black wool jacket trimmed with flat braid and buttons, black trousers closed at front and fancy white pique shirt with layers and closed with small pearl buttons.Collar is curved to exactly follow his neck shape.hand sewn dark brown high shoes. A wonderful doll that would be a great addition to a collection of early dolls.19"/ 48 cm tall.
